Biblical University on a cold and breezy afternoon. The Eastern attack jumped to life with 27 runs in the twin-bill. Raychel Weis and Kristine Rosko picked up wins for their efforts on the mound.

After going quietly in the first inning of game one, the Eagles put seven runs on the board in the second to set the tone for the afternoon. Elise Murante led off the key inning with a single and delivered the big blow with a two-out two-rbi double to push the Eastern lead to 7-0. Alyssa Brubaker knocked in a single run in the third.

Weis allowed three earned runs in a complete game performance to pick up the win.

Eastern fell behind 4-0 in in the first inning of game two. The Eagles were unable to find their offensive rhythm until the third. Onc the Eastern bats began to put things together, they took advantage of six walks to score 17 runs in their last four at bats. 

Karen Hertzog delivered four rbi on the game. Murante chipped in with 3 rbi in a 4-5 performance at the plate.

Rosko pitched six innings to pick up her third win on the year.

The Eagles return to action with a pair of doubleheaders this weekend at Centenary and at Marywood.
