Though they dominated play throughout, Eastern University needed a three-goal burst early in the second half to pull away to a 4-0 win at Marywood.
Aaron Tritch nodded in his fourth of the year on a cross from
Brian Raffle to put the Eagles up 1-0 in the 13th minute. Despite a 10-2 edge in shots, the Eagles held just a 1-0 edge at the intermission.
Shortly after half,
Ben Faro gave the Eagles an important insurance goal off a nice cross from Tritch. Ninety Seconds later,
Brian Raffle converted from the spot for a 3-0 lead.
Mike Leitzel wrapped up the scoring in the 57th minute when he knocked in a rebound of a shot from
Taylor VanBrackle.
Michael Dorsch and
Noah Bartelt each made a save as the two goalkeepers split the shutout.
The third straight win lifts the Eagles to 2-1 in PAC play.
