could only muster four runs as the Eagles dropped both games of the double header.

In game one, Nick Kaklowski allowed just four hits over six innings of work, but the host Griffins put together three hits in the bottom of the sixth to erase a 2-1 deficit with a three run rally. The Eagles who scored a single tally in the third, had taken the lead in the top of the sixth when junior catcher John Montague singled home Andrew Reynolds. The 4-2 loss dropped the Eagles to 4-9 in the PAC.

The Griffins jumped on game two starter Zach Clouser for five runs in the opening two innings. Clouser battled back to finish four innings without allowing a hit after the second. Nolan Potter finihsed the game for the Eagles and held the hosts to a single run over their final two at bats, but the Eastern bats were held to four hits and just a pair of sixth inning runs. Montague again picked up an RBI with a single to left-center.

Eastern will look to get back on the winning track with a three game series against Misericordia on the weekend.
