up. The Eagles took six innings to get their first hit, and while they were able to close a 5-0 game to 5-3 with a run in the seventh and two in the eighth, the host Bears plated four in the bottom of the eighth to secure the win.

Down 5-0, the Eagles began their rally on a Sean Ciletti walk. John Montague poked a single back up the middle toput runners on first and second with one out. Freshman outfielder Dan Wilson hit a towering fly ball to right that hit the fence on a hop that scored Ciletti. Montague stopped at third, and the next two Eastern batters were unable to convert the runs.

 In the top o fht eighth, Kenny Long started the inning with a single, and advanced to second on a ground out. Davis Murray drew a walk, and Ciletti singled to right to score Long and move Murray to third. Andrew Reynolds drove home Murray, but the Bears turned a double play to escape without further damage.

 Ursinus scored four runs in the eighth to put the game away. Ben Jones gave up four runs and took the loss for the Eagles.
