Nick Battle joins the Eastern University Men's Basketball Staff in August of 2026. Battle, a South Jersey native, comes to eastern after serving as a Division I Assistant Coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
While working with the Knights, Battle had responsibilities in scouting, film breakdown, recruiting in Pennsylvania and Ohio, and player development. While at FDU, he worked with a player who earned First Team All-NEC, All-Rookie Team, and First Team All-Defense honors. He served as the Director of Basketball Operations where he organized travel, itineraries, film, camps, and on-court development with a focus on rebounding.
Before his time in Teaneck, Battle coached at The Skill Factory High School Prep in Atlanta.
This nationally-ranked program produced multiple Division I and II scholarship athletes.
He also had stints as a high school coach at Gloucester County Institute of Technology and at Cherokee High School. He guided an Outside The Perimeter AAU team to a Bama Jam championship while helping more
than 10 players earn college scholarships.
Battle will be involved in all aspects of Eastern's program.
