Jacquelyn Curci joins the Eastern University Men's Volleyball staff as a full-time assistant coach, working closely with Coach Bitzberger to enhance all facets of the program. Her wealth of experience and passion for the sport are invaluable assets to the team. A graduate of West Chester University, Jacquelyn earned her degree in history, complemented by a minor in education, which has shaped her approach to coaching and mentorship.
With a coaching career that began in 2007, Jacquelyn has successfully led both boys' and girls' volleyball teams at various levels, including club and high school. Notable highlights include multiple playoff achievements with Council Rock South High School Girls Program 2018-2020, two conference championships with the Central Bucks East girls’ program in 2021, and 2022 and guiding the Central Bucks East boys’ volleyball team to PIAA State appearances in 2017 and 2018. Additionally, Jacquelyn serves as the boys’ club director for TNT Volleyball, where she also coaches the 16's national team, showcasing her commitment to developing young athletes in the sport.
Jacki's coaching philosophy centers on the belief that the game itself is the best teacher. She emphasizes the importance of live play situations, advocating for a well-rounded development approach that fosters teamwork and resilience. Encouraging players to push their limits, she values growth through risk-taking and learning from mistakes. Her focus on challenging and intentional practices allows athletes to engage deeply with the game, enter flow states, and derive genuine enjoyment from their preparation and performance. Jacquelyn's dedication to cultivating a positive and developmental environment will undoubtedly propel the Eastern University Men’s Volleyball program to new heights.
