Cael Magill

Cael Magill joins the coaching staff for the 2026 baseball season. In his first season, he will be working with the outfielders, hitters, and coaching first base.

Before starting at Eastern, Magill worked with the Flag City Sluggers in the team's inaugural season. Based in Findlay, Ohio, the team competed in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. With Magill working with hitters, infielders, and outfielders, the Sluggers finished atop the league team statistics in batting average, runs scored, hits, runs batted in, on base percentage, stolen bases, and fielding percentage. This on field success led to the first ever active high school draft pick in GLSCL history (Rylan Mills, Brewers, 18th round).

Magill played four years of collegiate baseball at Washington College, Crown College, and Marietta College. He earned a bachelor's degree in management and a certificate in entrepreneurship from Marietta. In his two years at Marietta, Magill hit .337 while appearing in 78 games. He secured First-Team All-OAC honors while posting a .918 OPS in his final season.

In addition to his work on the field, Magill will be actively involved in recruiting while also pursuing a MBA in organizational management.
