Christi Schlager returned to Eastern as an assistant coach/ director of volleyball operations in 2013. Coach Schlager played four years as a defensive specialist in the Eastern program and was named Freedom Conference Championship Most Outstanding Player in her senior season. Schlager was part of a class that won four Freedom Conference Championships and advanced to the National Semifinal in 2011.

Schlager works as a special education teacher in Malvern, Pa. She has earned a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in special education with a concentration in autism spectrum disorders.

As an assistant coach and director of volleyball operations, Schlager will assisting with many parts of the program, including statistics, video breakdown, tournament coordinating.
