Bridget Carey will rejoin the Eastern Volleyball coaching staff in 2019. She served as an assistant coach from 2014-2016. Bridget was a part of the 2016 staff that led Eastern Women's Volleyball to a 32-6 record and a spot in the NCAA Elite Eight in Oshkosh, Wisc.
She was a four-year starter for Eastern from 2006-2009. Her teams won three conference titles and advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen twice.
Carey played multiple positions throughout her first three years before settling in as an outside hitter for her senior season. She earned All-Conference honors with 182 kills and a .272 hitting percentage. For her career, she collected nearly 650 kills and over 600 digs.

Along with her team development role, she will serve in volleyball operations and train outside hitters. She works full-time as a marketing manager at Catalyst Media in Malvern, Pa.
