Krystal Meier (nee Cairns) returned to Eastern University as an assistant coach for the 2016 season after graduating from Eastern in 2010. Meier played her first three seasons as a defender, but transitioned to attack for her senior season. The Eagles won the PAC Championship in her first two seasons. She served as a team captain and was important member in facilitating Eastern's high-powered offense. The single-game assists record at Eastern belongs to Meier (seven) and she had the third most assists in a season as well.
Meier, a four-time conference academic honor roll member, earned her bachelor's in business management and has worked as a property management accountant since graduating.
Meier will be assisting head coach Kim Campbell in all aspects of coaching, from recruiting to practice to gameday.
