After a dominating career on the field, Kate Hoy joined the Eastern University Women's Lacrosse staff for the 2007-08 season. The Eagles won a PAC Championship and finished 14-5 in her one season on the sidelines.
On the field, Hoy was a constant threat to score. Her 278 career goals is second only to the 342 scored by fellow Hall of Honor Inductee Andrea Collesidis. Hoy was inducted into Eastern's Hall of Honor in 2013. She and Jessie Basch combined for 245 points in Eastern's 2007 PAC Championship run. She scored 90 goals and had 32 assists and earned IWLCA All-America Honors and picked up her second PAC Player of the Year award.Â
