Yndiah Bobo joins the Eastern University Women's Basketball staff as a full-time assistant. Bobo brings local ties and a strong playing and coaching resume to the Eastern staff.Â
She joins the Eastern staff after working as an assistant at Clarion University, her alma mater. As a player, she started 55 games for the Golden Eagles and played in the very competitive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). She averaged just under 10 points a game while playing over 30 minutes per game for Clarion. After graduation, she came back to the Philadelphia area and worked briefly as an assistant at Rosemont College before returning to the west side of the state to serve as an assistant at Clarion.Â
In high school, Bobo was an accomplished point guard at the Shipley School. There she led her squad to three state titles and a Friends League Championship while being nominated as a McDonald's All-American. She earned All-Mainline and All-Friends League Honors.Â
At Eastern, Bobo will be involved in all aspects of program development and will work regularly with the program's guards.
