Mark Lesher

Coach Lesher joins the Eastern staff as an assistant for the 2020-21 season. He has over 18 years of experience coaching youth athletics, and fifteen years with high-level fastpitch softball. As an assistant coach with Valley Forge Patriots 18U Gold team, he has been responsible for practice planning, skills instruction and player development. On the heels of a championship season, Lesher is part of the ATEC/NFCA Regional Coaching Staffs of the Year.

He is married to Natalie, and they reside in Mohrsville, Pennsylvania.  They have two children Joshua and Paige. Joshua is currently a student at Penn State University. Paige played her collegiate softball at Moravian College where she was the 2019 Landmark conference pitcher of the year and was nominated to the NFCA Atlantic All Region Team. She holds records at Moravian for career WP and top ten for career ERA.

Coach Lesher holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University. Over the course of his 30 year career he has held various technology development positions including Principal Engineer, Technical Manager, Engineering Manager, and Engineering Director. He is currently helping to lead a corporate technical leadership development program at Northrop Grumman Corporation.
