Coach Stuppy returned to the program for the 2009 season after Head Coach Mark Ambler passed away suddenly prior to the start of the year. Stuppy led the Eagles to a 14-18 mark in their first season in the MAC Freedom. She led Eastern's team for six seasons in the 1990's and continued to work at the University after stepping away from the program in 1996.
