John Post

John Post has been the Athletic Trainer for Eastern University since being hired full-time in August 1998. A graduate of Messiah College (BA, 1988) and Eastern University (MBA, 2006), John worked in a variety of athletic training positions prior to coming to Eastern University.

Before arriving at Eastern, he was the athletic trainer for the Elmira Pioneers, the single-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox in the NY-Penn League and a staff athletic trainer for Pat Croce’s Sports Physical Therapists (now NovaCare Outpatient Rehabilitation) working with local high schools, colleges and universities and several Philadelphia professional sports teams. In that role he did work with both the Philadelphia Kixx and the Philadelphia Power.

Post played an integral part in the development of an athletic training curriculum at Eastern University, including the professional development of dozens of students seeking a career in sports medicine as an athletic trainer.

Post will serve as the primary athletic training contact for men's soccer and men's lacrosse.
