Jim Henderson

A graduate of Eastern University (1999), Jim Henderson was a 4-year starter in the midfield.  Characterized as a hard-tackling defensive center midfielder, "Sweets" played with the first-ever Eastern team selected for the NCAA Tournament in 1997. While at Eastern, he earned recognition as an All-Conference selection.  Jim was originally recruited from Sun Valley HS (PA), where he was a 3x all-conference selection. Jim also played his club soccer for F.C. Delco (PA).

Upon graduating from EU with his individualized major in Sports Management, Jim enjoyed his first two years with the South Jersey Barons Professional Soccer Club.  His responsibilities included general operations, marketing, and event management.  During his time as the Barons' Director of Operations, the team celebrated being 1999 Regular Season National Champions, 1999 National Tournament Finalists, and 2x Conference Champs.

In 2000, Jim returned to Eastern to work full-time in the Undergraduate Admissions Department because of his connection to the mission of Eastern University.  Upon completion of his MBA in 2003, Jim served Eastern in various enrollment positions including as the Executive Director of Admissions for Marketing Communications, which collaborated with multiple colleges and departments within the University.

In October 2015, while maintaining his role as Associate Head Coach, Jim was hired by Future 500 ID Camp (the nation's largest residential soccer id camps for boys and girls) in the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Jim is married to his college sweetheart, Rita (Orlando) '00 and has two children, Isabella and James.  The four live in Lafayette Hill, Pa., and are members of Storehouse Church.  He enjoys video games, reading the bible, and Arsenal FC.
