Eastern University Athletics

Dr. Glodi Konga was named full-time head coach in March of 2022. He joined the Eastern University Men’s Soccer staff in July of 2021 and served as interim head coach over the first three months of 2022.

Dr. Konga holds a UEFA B license and played collegiately, first at Cloud County CC, where he won the NJCAA National Championship, then at Cairn before completing his final two years at Liberty University. He holds a BS in Exercise Science, an MS in Sports Management from Liberty, and Ph.D. in Sports Leadership from Concordia University in Chicago.

He played after college in the ASL with the Philadelphia Fury and served as the Head Coach at the University of Valley Forge and as an assistant coach at Haverford College. He was the Head of Coaching at United Philly Soccer Club and has taken several teams on international tours with Athletes in Action and Ambassadors Football.

Dr. Konga is committed to seeing his players grow in maturity in all aspects of their lives.
