Nick Mandia returned to the Eastern Lacrosse coaching staff in 2013-2014. Mandia served as an offensive assistant with the Eagles in 2010. After that year, he moved to rural Utah to work in a wilderness training program designed to rehabilitate youth and young adults with drug and behavior issues.

Mandia served as a captain for the Eagles and graduated as the most accomplished offensive player in program history. Though he played only three years after transfering in, he held career marks in assists and total points. He earned 2nd Team All-PAC honors in 2007 and 2008.  His final season, Mandia was named 1st Team All-MAC, was awarded the Athletic Award of Excellence and graduated from Eastern as the all-time career points leader.

During his undergraduate years at Eastern, Mandia studied biokinetics while gaining coaching experience by working at United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, Pa., running one-on-one and small-sided clinics, summer camps and coaching for the Falcons Lacrosse Club.

Mandia will be working as an offensive assistant while he pursues his certification in K-12 Health & Physical Education at Eastern.  He currently works in primary learning support in a local school district.
