Brandon Childs joined the Eastern Univerwsity Athletics staff to lead the Men's Lacrosse program in May of 2009. He came to Eastern after a successful tenure as the lead assistant and offensive coordinator at Dickinson College. He had a very successful playing career as a student-athlete at Lynchburg.
Childs became the first coach to lead Eastern to a winning record in a season and took Eastern to the MAC playoffs in each of his three seasons. He finished with a 28-16 record and recruited several players who played critical roles in earning the program's first MAC Championship in 2012.
