Trent Fitzpatrick joins the Eastern University Men's Basketball staff after playing collegiate basketball at the University of Dubuque and St. Ambrose University.
In his three years at Dubuque, the Spartans went unbeaten in 20-21 and won an American Rivers Conference Championship. In his three seasons at Dubuque and was a key role player. He shot a career best 44 percent from behind the arc in his final season as a Spartan.
Originally from the Quad City area, Fitzpatrick transferred back toward home to finish his degree and compete in both soccer and basketball at St. Ambrose. In his final year, he began to work in coaching as an assistant at Davenport Assumption HIgh School. He graduated from St. Ambrose with a degree in Business Management.
At Eastern he will pursue a teaching certificate in Health and Physical Education, and will be involved in all aspects of the men's basketball program.
