Samantha Bodo brings high level playing and coaching experience to the Eastern Field Hockey staff.
She started 60 games and appeared in another 10 as a defender at Division I Northeastern University, and she served as a team captain for the Huskies in her senior season. She earned a BS in Biology with a Psychology Minor.
Originally from Warrington, Pa., Bodo played high school field hockey at Central Bucks South where she helped Titans to win three Suburban One League Championships. She earned honorable mention All-SOL in 2012, third-team honors in 2013, and second team recognition in 2014. CB South won a District One title in 2012 and was runner-up in 2013 and 2014.
Bodo has worked as a club coach with Mainline Mayhem since 2020 and is currently the Director of Programming and Operations for the club.
At Eastern, she will help Coach Kemble with recruiting and will spend much of her time in practice working with the Eastern defense.
She is working towards her Masters in Education.
