Coach Santello joined the Eastern Baseball staff after a four year career on the field for the Eagles. He played in 117 games and started every game as a middle infielder over his final three seasons in St. Davids.
Santello saw his hitting, on-base percentage, and slugging imporove in each of his four seasons. In his senior season, he hit .343 and posted an OPS of 1.001. He committed only seven errors in his final two seasons and finished with a career fielding percentage of .962. He earned Second-Team All-PAC Honors in 2008.
Eastern Athletics recognized him as the Department's Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2010-2011 academic year.
