BEVERLY, Mass. Eastern University Football will open its 2026 slate with a road test at 24th-ranked Endicott College. The 2025 MAC Champs will face a playoff-level test as they take on a tournament-tested program on the road.

Over the past six seasons, the Gulls have won 55 games and five of their twelve losses have come in NCAA Tournament games. Endicott, a tournament team in each of the last five years, has reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament in each of the last two seasons. The season-opener will provide the Eagles with an early test against an established program.

The 2025 Eagles made a big statement for the MAC with an NCAA Tournament win at Franklin & Marshall. Early success from league teams could prove to be important as the league looks to include several teams with the quality to win games.

Coach Crocker and his staff will, for the first time, have to replace multiple losses from graduation, but the Eagles will feature several young players who have been in the program as well as a hungry group of newcomers.
