GLENSIDE, Pa. — The doubles point turned out to be the difference as Eastern University Women's Tennis dropped a 4-3 non-league decision at Arcadia. Lily Aldrich was a double-winner for the Eagles.

Aldrich and Gabby Sutton claimed a 6-2 decision at the third doubles spot, but the host Knights won at the top two doubles spot to grab a 1-0 lead going into singles play.

After dropping her opening set by a 6-1 score, Sarah Mower ground out a three-set win at the third spot. She won the second set 7-5 and cruised to the finish with a 6-1 win in the third set.

Grace Schriever won 6-2,6-0 at the fourth spot, but the Knights locked up the win before Aldrich won 6-2, 6-3 at the sixth spot.

The Eagles (2-5) will play at Muhlenberg on Thursday.
