LIMERICK, Pa. - Eastern Women's Golf competed in its first event of the spring on Friday at the Ursinus Spring Quad hosted at Turtle Creek. Three Eagles finished in the top five as Eastern placed second out of four competing teams with a score of 340.
Sophomores
Jeannie Shore and
Esther Kane had strong starts to their spring season, each carding a 90. For Shore, it was one of her career best of 89, which she set at the LVC Fall Invitational in October. For Kane, it was her best outing of the season. The duo combined for 12 pars and each shot 42 on the back nine.
Junior
Jessie Schreiber competed in her first event of the year, carding a 99. She sunk a birdie on hole one to go along with six pars.
The Eagles will be back in action on Monday, April 6 for the Stevenson Spring Invitational.
