NEWTOWN, Pa.– The Middle Atlantic Conference office today released Academic All-MAC lists for the 2024 Cross Country season. For her performance in the classroom and on the course, Eastern University senior Hailey Shreffler earned a spot on the prestigious list.

Shreffler, a senior Biochemistry major, worked through injury for much of the fall season before coming on late to finish 11th at the MAC Championships and claim All-Region recognition at the NCAA Regional meet. She earned Academic All-MAC Honors in Outdoor Track and Field last spring, but this is her first recognition for Cross Country.

Academic All-MAC honorees are selected from the 16 MAC institutions for their performance on the course and in the classroom. To be nominated, a player needed to post a minimum of a 3.2 GPA for the fall semester. The ten honorees for Women's Cross Country posted an average GPA of 3.87 and earned All-Conference and All-Region honors.
