ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Eastern University Cross Country returns to action tomorrow at the 2025 NCAA Division III Metro Region Championship. The men will race over eight kilometers at 11 am and the women will race over 6 kilometers at 12 noon. The races will take place at DREAM Park in Logan Township, N.J.

Two weekends ago, the men ran one of their best races under the direction of Coach Kiehl Smith. Ryle Mellinger led the Eagles with career-best 26:01.9 and an eighth place finish. He became the first Eagle since 2019 to earn First-Team All-MAC Honors, and the fourth Eagle since 2016 to earn multiple All-MAC accolades.

On the women's side, first-year Ashley Bitler became the 11th Eagle since 2013 to earn All-MAC Honors in Cross Country. The Middletown, Del. product claimed Third-Team All-MAC honors with a 23rd place finish.

This will be Eastern's first look at the super-fast DREAM Park course. Four of the top times in Eastern Women's Cross Country history have been run at DREAM Park. On the men's side, the course is even faster. Five of the top ten, and the top three overall, have been run at DREAM Park.
