ST. DAVIDS, Pa.– Eastern University Women's Lacrosse honored their four seniors,
Emerson Shauger,
Teresa Gailey,
Reese Devlin, and
Emily Stiles before their final game of the regular season. In her final game, Shauger finished with two goals and two assists to reach the 100-point mark for her career, but it was not enough as the visiting Hood College Blazers pulled away to a 20-5 win.
The Blazers (7-10, 3-4) scored the opening seven goals of the match before Shauger put away a pass from
Morgan Wallace with 4:40 to play in the first quarter. Shauger had hit the inside of the far post on an effort earlier in the half. Shauger set up
Teresa Gailey on a nice crease feed in the second period and then reached her 100th point on a solo effort early in the fourth quarter. She added a second assist on Wallace's second goal in the fourth quarter.
Gailey finished with a team-high four draw controls.
Jordana Fredo made nine stops in goal.
