GRANTHAM,PA. – In its second MAC Commonwealth contest of the year. Eastern University Women's Lacrosse dropped a 17-1 decision at Messiah University. Morgan Wallace scored the lone Eastern goal. 

The Falcons (4-8, 2-0) scored twice in the opening minute and went up 8-0 by the end of the first quarter. The Eagles won four first-quarter draw controls, but the Falcons forced nine turnovers and had an 11-0 edge in shots through the frame. 

Messiah scored four times in the second quarter and three more times in the third. Wallace put away an unassisted tally in the fourth quarter. 

The Eagles will face MAC Commonwealth favorite York College at home on Saturday.
