St. DAVIDS, Pa. – Eastern University Women's Lacrosse was unable to find a goal in an 18-0 home-loss to the unbeaten Stockton University Ospreys.
Jordana Fredo made eight saves in her second start in goal.
Though the Eagles created possessions with caused turnovers and were competitive on draw controls, the Stockton defense kept the Eagles on the perimeter and did not allow Eastern to earn a free position shot in the game. The Ospreys (11-0) scored seven first-quarter goals and converted six of seven shots in the second.
Morgan Wallace had four caused turnovers and
Emerson Shauger claimed four draw controls.
The Eagles, who played with just one substitute due to injuries, will have an extended break over the Easter holiday to prep for the MAC Commonwealth portion of the schedule.
