ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Eastern Women's Tennis suffered another tough setback on Wednesday at the Eastern Tennis Courts, falling to Albright 8-1.
The Eagles' lone win of the day came at No. 2 doubles, as
Sarah Mower and
Rhyan Metzger battled with Jacqualine Manikas and Isabella Tile to an 8-7 victory, winning the tiebreaker 7-4. Mower also played valiantly at No. 3 singles, winning the first set before falling 6-1 and 7-6. Mower dropped the tiebreaker 7-2 in the third set.
Eastern will be on the road on Saturday at Stevenson for another MAC Commonwealth showdown. First serve is scheduled for 11:00 am.
