Coming off the league's bye week, Eastern University Football will play a noon game at Misericordia University. The two teams are both in search of their second league win of 2023.

The two teams share similar results against two common opponents so far this season. The Cougars earned a 35-13 home win over Alvernia the last time out. That win came after a 31-3 loss at LVC the week before. In their win over the Golden Wolves, the Misericordia offense divided its 300 total yards almost exactly down the middle. First year quarterback TJ Lattimore threw for 153 yards and Matt Maransky ran for 59 yards and a touchdown. The Cougars had three interceptions against Alvernia.

The Eagles look to bounce back after a rough loss in the rain at LVC. Early miscues put the Eagles behind, and LVC's solid ground game and bad weather both limited a chance of a comeback. The Eagles have forced just one turnover since causing three in the opening weekend.
