Field Hockey Closes out 2022 at Arcadia

GLENSIDE, Pa.– Eastern University Field Hockey closed out the 2022 season with a loss to the Arcadia University Knights (13-5). While the Eagles limped into today's match with injuries and a run of tough results, the Knights had won ten matches in a row and were prepping to host a game in next week's MAC Freedom Tournament.

The host Knights scored in the fourth minute and added two more first-period goals on the way to an 8-0 final.

Though Arcadia only had six penalty corners in the match, the Knights made them count for four goals. The Eagles had three penalty corners in the waning minutes, but were unable to finish their season with a goal.

Abby Agapito and Kate Hall each played a half in goal. 

Today was the final game for seniors Lily White and Morgan Ruhl.
