Eastern Smash Sweeps Manchester For Second Straight Win

ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - With excellent teamwork and strategy, Eastern's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Team eraned its seconds straight victory on Thursday - a 2-0 triumph over Manchester University.

After an even start to the first match, Seth Mitchell, playing as Sonic, gave the Eagles the advantage with a pair of KO's. With one stock remaining, Blaise Bernal, playing as Hero, took care of the rest, sweeping the rest of Manchester's stocks to give the Eagles a 1-0 advantage.

Eastern grabbed all the momentum in game two. Logan Potter started the match with eight KO's, and Mitchell closed it out to give the Eagles their second win of the season.

The Eagles will be back in action next week against Old Dominion.
