ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Eastern University and Stevenson University, two fierce MAC rivals, clashed in a thrilling best-of-five Overwatch series on Friday. The match was a rollercoaster of emotions, with each map going down to the wire and featuring multiple overtime periods. Despite their valiant efforts, the Eagles ultimately fell short, losing the series 3-2.

Michal Kolaczewski, who was named series MVP, played a pivotal role in keeping the Eagles competitive. His masterful Sombra play turned the tide of multiple maps, showcasing his exceptional skill and strategic thinking. However, the Mustangs proved to be too strong on the day, securing the victory.
With this loss, the Eagles finish the semester in 4th place in the NECC East division.
"While this is a disappointing result, the team can take solace in their hard work and dedication," Eastern Head Coach Joshua Franklin said. "They will undoubtedly use this experience to fuel their drive for success in the upcoming semester."
Eastern will resume competition in the spring semester.
