STEVENSON, Md.– Eastern University Men's Tennis dropped an 8-1 decision at Stevenson in the teams second match in two days.
The Eagles found their one point in a 6-4, 6-0 win at no. 4 singles by
Kayla Patitucci. The junior played with
Emily Stevens in a competitive 8-6 loss at second doubles as well.
GraceHope Stevens did not get a win, but the first year forced a third set with a 6-1 second set win after falling 6-4 in the opener. She dropped the third set 6-2.
Jenna Lapp also had a tight match at third singles. Lapp dropped the opening set 6-4 and forced a tiebreaker in the second. She lost the tiebreaker by a 6-3 score to drop her match.
Emily Stevens won three games in each set at second singles and
Courtney Potter lost 6-3, 6-4 at the fifth singles spot.
The Eagles will host LVC on Saturday.
