YORK, Pa.– Eastern University Women's Lacrosse finished the year with a loss at York College. The Spartans scored 14 first-half goals and pulled away to a 23-0 win.
The Eagles had some success at the draw in the first half as
Allison Andres,
Hailey Ferry, and
Alyse Hand each controlled a pair of drawas and the Eagles won 7-of-15 before the intermission. As time wore on, the deeper Spartans grabbed control of that category as well. The hosts controlled 9-of-10 after halftime.
The Spartans, who will likely finish the season as the second seed in the MAC Commonwealth, are gearing up for a stretch run. They converted 23-of-40 shots and had 13 different players score.
The Eagles, who battled though injuries throughout the season, end the year with today's game.
