READING, Pa. – a short-handed Eastern University Women's Tennis squad fell to 0-2 on the year with a loss at Alvernia University. With only five healthy players, the Eagles started the match down two and were unable to gather a point the rest of the way.

Kayla Patitucci, playing in just her second career match fell 6-4, 6-1 at the third singles spot. Courtney Potter fell 6-3, 6-1 at the fourth singles spot.

The Eagles are slated to host Hood on Tuesday.
