The Eastern University Overwatch varsity team, consisting of  Alex Clark, Daniel Castillo,, Michal Kolaczewski, Scott Polly, Tyler Spencer, Lincoln Twedt, and Kennedy Whitfield, took on Shenandoah University in their first NACE conference regular season contest.Â

Game 1
Map - Oasis
Final Score - 1 to 2, ShenandoahÂ
Round 1 went into Overtime with Eastern taking the round. Rounds 2 and 3 were back and forth, but Shenandoah took control of the map, and completed the objectives to lock in a Game 1 win.

Game 2
Map - Junkertown
Final score - 1 to 2, Shenandoah College
Eastern pushed the cart halfway through the map, but stopped just shy of the second checkpoint. Shenandoah beat out Eastern by being able to lock in that point, and earning the win.

Game 3
Map - Kings Row
Final Score - 5 to 3, Shenandoah (in Overtime)
Eastern and Shenandoah were both able push the cart the whole way in the first round. The second time through, Shenandoah pushed the cart past the second checkpoint, but Eastern got held off just shy of the second checkpoint, giving Shenandoah the victory in the game, and closing out the match.
Though this may have been a defeat for Eastern, there were a number of first completed in this match. In this match, as an Overwatch team, Eastern was able to win their first round as a team, successfully deliver the payload to its destination, enter its first overtime, and be 1 win away from a Game Victory.Â
There next match would be against Arcadia on October 1st.Â
