ANNVILLE, Pa. Eastern University Men's Tennis started the fall season with a dual match at Lebanon Valley College.With several new players, the Eagles gained valuable experience, but dropped the match 9-0.
How It Happened:
The Eagles (0-1) were only able ot win a couple games in doubles play. Newcomers Darren Lopez and Kenneth Samuel picked up both those games at second doubles.

Jacob Craig, the two returning players on the Eastern roster for today's match. First-year players, Logan Spinney, Samuel, and Ryan Kratz played second through fourth singles. Kratz won two games in each set against his opponent.
Coach Spangler Says:
"We were down a couple guys who will be at the top of the rotation in the spring, and we were really young today. We got some valuable experience that we will be able to build on."

The Eagles will compete at the MAC Individual Tournament in Wilkes-Barre on the weekend of Oct. 12.
