Women's Lacrosse Falls IN MAC Freedom Semifinals

MADISON, N.J. – In earning a spot in the MAC Freedom Tournament, Eastern University Women's Lacrosse made a big step forward in 2018. The Eagles post-season journey came to an end with a 19-5 loss at FDU-Florham in the MAC Freedom Semifinals. Meghan Kosmides and Liz Brennan each scored twice in the loss.

The Eagles fell behind early as the top-seeded devils won draw controls and forced turnovers with pressure. Kosmides put the Eagles on the board in 12th minute to cut the deficit to 6-1, but the Devils answered 17 seconds later. Kosmides scored again, but again the Devils answered.

FDU had a 32-14 edge in first-half shots and led 12-2 at the break.
