DALLAS, Pa.– Eastern University Women's Lacrosse (3-6, 1-1 MAC Freedom) dropped a 19-8 decision at Misericordia.
Meghan Kosmides scored three goals in the loss.
The Cougars struck first with a goal five minutes in before Kosmides answered with a free position goal right off the ensuing draw. The Cougars then scored the next nine goals of the game to go up 10-1. Kosmides closed the scoring with her 14th of the year and second of the day. The rookie from Annapolis who missed the teams first four games now has 15 goals in her last four games.
The Cougars stretched the edge to 17-3 before the Eagles started to scratch back in the final fifteen minutes.
Sam Brennan found her sister with 12:10 to play before Kosmides completed her hat trick in transition.
