Men's Soccer Heads Back to Oneonta; Will Play Rochester

INDIANAPOLIS– The NCAA announced the field and match-ups for the Division III Men's Soccer Tournament earlier this afternoon. Eastern University Men's Soccer, the MAC Freedom Champions, will go back to SUNY-Oneonta for a first-round game against the University of Rochester at 1:30 PM on Saturday.

The Eagles (14-3-3) advanced to the NCAA Tournament with a penalty-kick shootout win over Misericordia in the MAC Freedom Championship game. Rochester (9-4-3)  earned a spot as an at-large entry from the UAA. The Yellow Jackets beat Emory in their final match of the year on Saturday.

The winner of that match will take on either the host Red Dragons of SUNY Oneonta (14-6-1)  or St. John Fisher (6-9-3). Oneonta earned an at-large bid, and St. John Fisher won the Empire Eight.

Admission will be charged at the event. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for students, and $2 for children aged 3-12.
