"That goal was as pretty as any we have scored all year," Head Coach

Moments later, the Devils responded following a short clear on a corner kick. Gabriella Florio's 35 yard floater hit the underside of the crossbar and went in.
In the 43rd minute, Cole unleashed a hard shot from just outside the 18, but FDU-Florham goalkeeper Annie George tipped the ball over the crossbar to keep the score even at 1-1. Both teams had six shots in the opening half.
FDU-Florham tallied the game winner in the 58th minute when Brittni Calleo got her head on a bouncing ball in the box.
"It was a tough way for the season to end," Mouw said, "I know that the players really wanted to send our seniors out on a positive note. I am very grateful to Steph, Mary, and Laura for what they have brought to the program over the past four years. They will each do very well as they go onto the next things in their lives."
Eastern (7-11-1, 2-5 MAC Freedom) tallied 12 total shots in the match putting eight of them on net.
