MADISON, N.J.--Eastern University Volleyball hit .432 as a team and had three players reach double-digit kills as the Eagles stumped the FDU-Florham Devils in three sets Wednesday night.
Eastern swept FDU-Florham 25-15, 25-18, 25-11. The Eagles, still ranked No. 19 in the country, improved to 21-5 overall and 5-0 in the Freedom Conference.
Eagles' freshman Morgan Shemonski led all players with 14 kills while hitting .478. Teammates Alicia Weigel and Katrina Pisch each hit above .500 while recording double-digit kills. Weigel had 11 kills and a .529 attack percentage while Pisch had 10 kills and hit .643. Lauren Sproles added seven kills and 11 digs, and Erin Hillman added six kills.
Junior All-American setter Rikki Schlager set 47 balls with 44 of those assist attempts resulting in kills. Defensive specialist Lauren Horst led all players with 12 digs.
The Devils hit .104 as a team for the match and were led by Melissa Gaffney's seven kills.
Eastern hosts Wilkes University on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Eagles' second to last home game of the year.
