BEVERLY, Mass.--Eastern Volleyball, after two long matches Friday, finished the Endicott College Inviational with two three-set wins on Saturday.
The Eagles took care of the host Endicott Gulls 25-11, 25-14, 25-18 and then dispatched the UMass-Boston Beacons 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.
In the opening match, the Eagles picked up 45 digs and held Endicott to a .035 hitting percentage. Eastern hit .372 for the match. Lauren Sproles led the Eagles' attack with 12 kills on 25 attempts, and Kearby Benak added 10 kills. Benak was named to the all-tournament team. Katrina Pisch swatted six kills in 10 attempts and also added five block assists.
In the second match, the Eagles held the Beacons to a .108 hitting percentage. Benak had another double-digit kills match, recording 11 in 22 attempts with one error. Pisch hit .545 in the second match, going 7-for-11 with one error.
Libero Rylie Haas had 37 digs in Saturday's action.
The Eagles, now 7-1, play at Neumann University on Friday and Saturday.
