READING, Pa.--Eastern Men's Soccer won its fifth game in a row, defeating the Albright College Lions 4-0 on Saturday.
The Eagles improved to 8-1 with the win.
The Eagles have kept a clean sheet six times this season. Eastern goalies Joe Centeno and Nick Policastro kept the shutout in order. Centeno started and played 71 minutes in net, and Policastro closed out the Lions over the final 19 minutes.
Neither team scored in the first half. Eastern's Eric Giovagnoli tallied the first goal of the game in the 50th minute, receiving the pass from Hunter Rosenberg.
Giovagnoli scored again, this time unassisted, in the 60th minute. He leads the Eagles in scoring this season with six goals and six assists.
Hunter Rosenberg picked up his second assist of the day in the 69th minute, finding Benjamin Barnhart for the score.
Eastern's Zach Johnson made it a 4-0 game in the 82nd minute with his second goal of the year. His goal was assisted by freshman Jamie Bonner.
The Eagles face a tough opponent on Wednesday when they host the No. 12 York College Spartans.
