ST. DAVIDS, Pa.--Eastern Field Hockey halted a three-game skid with a dominating 6-1 win over Swarthmore College on Thursday.

Eastern freshman Jess Kinzler scored the first two goals of her college career in the win. Danielle Frasca, Sarah Webb, Jess Jaindl and Kaycie Andrew all scored as well.

Eastern keeper Jennifer O'Neill recorded the win. She made four saves. The Eagles improved to 6-7 this season.

The Eagles quickly earned three penalty corners at the start of the game, and Frasca put the Eagles on the board in the eighth minute with her second tally of the season.

The Eagles went up 2-0 in the 24th minute after the Eagles earned their sixth penalty corner of the second half. Sarah Webb received the ball, dribbled across to the right side of the circle and fired in her second goal of the season.

Eastern wasted little time in the second half, scoring 1:34 into the period. Sophomore Lauren Gay threaded a ball to Jess Kinzler who finished the play with her first collegiate goal.

Jess Jaindl made it a 4-0 Eagles lead after she finished a hit by Megan Bolton off a penalty corner. Janidl's eight goals are second best on the team.

Less than a minute later, the Eagles went up 5-0 with Kinzler batting in her second goal of the game. Danielle Frasca provided the helper on this goal.

Swarthmore ended the shutout with a goal in the 67th minute off a cross from the right side that was finished near the left post.

Eastern's Kaycie Andrew added on the Eagles' remaining goal in the final minute. Andrew set up near the right post and knocked in a pass from Jaindl.

The Eagles begin a stretch of their remaining five conference games. They face Wilkes University at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
