YORK, Pa.--Eastern Volleyball handled Centenary College Saturday morning in three sets, but went the distance with Stevenson College Saturday afternoon.

Eastern defeated Centenary 25-13, 25-17, 25-8, but lost to Stevenson 25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 24-26, 10-15.

Stevenson improved to 19-2 this season while Eastern dropped to 16-3.

In the marathon against Stevenson, Eastern hit .161 for the match, recording 57 kills on 211 total attempts with 23 errors. While Stevenson committed 25 attack errors, they made 62 kills on 139 attempts, hitting .266 for the match. Stevenson also out-blocked Eastern, recording 11 blocks to Eastern's four.

Eastern's Kearby Benak, Katrina Pisch and Erin Hillman each earned double-digit kills with 19, 14 and 10, respectively.

Against Centenary, Eastern hit .418 for the match and held the Cyclones to .147.

The Eagles served aggressively against the Cyclones, notching 12 aces and 10 service errors. Eastern setter Rikki Schlager served five aces with no errors.

Benak led the Eagles with 14 kills.

Eastern will play its penultimate home game of the regular season on Tuesday against Manhattanville College at 7 p.m.
