WILKES-BARRE, Pa.--The past four times Eastern Field Hockey faced conference opponent King's College, Eastern edged the Monarchs by a single goal. However, on Saturday, King's College turned the tables and earned its first win against Eastern, winning 2-1.
Prior to Saturday's loss, Eastern held a 7-0 record against King's.
After 32:59 of scoreless play, Eastern freshman Lauren Gay recorded an unassisted goal, bouncing a shot off goalie Megan Withrow and then flicking her rebound past Withrow inside the left post.
